Job Description – Media Search Analyst (India)
Join TELUS Digital’s AI Community as a Media Search Analyst and work remotely with a flexible schedule from India. In this role, you’ll evaluate search results across diverse categories such as music, books, podcasts, video, and app content to ensure high-quality, relevant search outcomes. Your tasks will involve using web-based evaluation tools to assess App Store content, conduct research, and validate query intent and accuracy.
You’ll apply your knowledge of Indian media, business, and cultural trends to analyze content relevance and purpose in tasks related to maps, news, audio, and more. This position doesn’t require prior professional experience but does require strong attention to detail, independent work ability, and passion for digital content evaluation.
Qualification Path:
No previous professional experience is required to apply to this role, however, working on this project will require you to pass the basic requirements and go through a standard assessment process. This is a part-time long-term project and your work will be subject to our standard quality assurance checks during the term of this agreement.
Basic Requirements
An active Apple ID email address is essential
Ownership of an Apple device and familiarity with Apple products.
Full Professional Proficiency in English language
Residency in India for at least 1 consecutive year.
Up-to-date knowledge of India business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural trends.
Interest in internet research and familiarity with trends in apps, music, and video.
Flexibility to work on varied task types, such as maps, news, audio, and relevance evaluations.
Access to a computer, broadband internet, and relevant software.
Independent work skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
While a high school diploma or higher is preferred, exceptional candidates without formal education will be considered.

Assessment
In order to be hired into the program, you’ll take an open book qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification. Our team will provide you with guidelines and learning materials before your qualification exam. You will be required to complete the exam in a specific timeframe but at your convenience.
